Pa'ina Under the Kaka'ako Moon fundraiser

On Saturday, October 8 at the Halekauwila Plaza, Voyager School Foundation will host its Pa‘ina Under the Kaka‘ako Moon fundraiser to celebrate Voyager Charter School’s 10th Anniversary and to kick-off its ‘A Place To Call Home Capital Campaign’.
Held under the stars and the Kaka‘ako moon, guests will enjoy the musical tapestry of iconic Henry Kapono and culinary creations by Hale ‘Aina Award winner Formaggio Wine Bar and Grill -(invitation).

Leadership from coast to coast

Upon seeing the Atlantic Ocean for the first time, 16-year-old Taylor Wainani Traub of Ocean View was spellbound.

Silently watching the sun shimmer on the crashing blue-gray waves, Traub stood barefoot on the sand and felt the majesty of creation within her soul. She began chanting "Kumulipo," an ancient Hawaiian chant describing the beginning of the world.
