Hawaii Technology Academy
Hawaii Technology Academy (HTA) is a distinctive and innovative charter school that benefits grades K – 12. The nation’s leader for online learning, K12.com, imparts an exceptional comprehensive program. Core subjects and an array of electives are basic to curriculum. A hybrid delivery model utilizes both technology and personalized instruction in tandem with each other. This method, cognizant and sensitive, provides each student with educational excellence to each student’s needs. Parent involvement is integral. Tools and methodologies of technology are used in instruction and computers are provided for use at no extra cost. Our teachers are highly qualified and trained to meet the high expectations of student performance.

HTA provides extensive opportunities for students to participate in a diverse selection of elective courses. These courses include art, music, dance, foreign language, video game design and many others. HTA's rigorous curriculum is supported with educational field trips that allows students to apply their knowledge in real world situations. HTA is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
For Maui/Big Island/Kauai/Oahu:
HTA offers a Community Day Program throughout the state. Multi-age group students have the opportunity to meet with a licensed teacher weekly or bi-weekly at a community based location such as a library, Boys and Girls Club, community center or other public location. Content specific enrichment activities, tutoring and small group workshops are held during these times. The Community Day Program also offers opportunities for face to face tutoring, learning coach support and experiential learning field trips. Students and their learning coaches are required to meet with their advisor one time per quarter to review work samples and complete authentic qualitative and quantitative assessments.
